Madison Woods: I am a junior at Arlington High School. I am a big book addict, but I am all about math and science. When I graduate next year, I would like to settle on a path to becoming a pediatrician since I love helping people and working with children.
Lily Donaldson is an International Baccalaureate junior at Bolton High School. She is a Thespian, Mock Trial member, cheerleader, vegan, and Miss Mid-South’s Outstanding Teen. She hopes to double major in Journalism and International Relations during her undergraduate, pursue her Ph.D. in Communications, and become a Public Relations Officer for the United Nations.
Teneia Mitchell: Teneia Mitchell is a junior at Bolton High School . After high school she would like to study to be a neonatal nurse at Oxford or Emory University. Her hobbies include acting, singing, dancing, and drawing.
Angelica Martini: I am currently a junior at THE high school, Central High School. Writing has been a passion of mine since I was very young, but here recently I have discovered that I am fascinated by investigative journalism. I would like to be able to communicate and branch out to more people by improving my writing skills, not only in English but other languages as well. Finally, I aspire to attend Brown University in the fall of 2017.
Kerrie Wilson: I am in the 11th grade. After I graduate I would like to go to college and major in journalism. My hobbies include reading, writing, taking selfies and listening to music.
Hali Smith: I am a sophomore currently attending The Central High School. I plan on attending a liberal arts college and majoring in Journalism & Communications. My hobbies are golf and cheer, and I am in the performing choir at school. I also enjoy being the 10th grade representative for Student Council at my school.
My name is Isabela Salazar and I am a senior at Collierville High School. I play competitive volleyball and have a passion for writing, art, and photography. Upon graduating I hope to attend the Air Force Academy and study to become a pilot. I am excited to write about the good and the issues I see in my school and community.
Hira Qureshi: I am a senior at Germantown High School, who is so ecstatic to be a part of Teen Appeal! After I graduate, I want to pursue something in communications. My hobbies include being an artist, cooking, writing, and meeting new people!
Thea Wilkens-Reed: Thea is a 12th grade homeschooler. She enjoys dancing, singing, and playing classical guitar. She is a member of the honor society, and is president of the library’s Teen Board of Advisory. She is currently working on college applications and in her spare time enjoys reading and hanging with her friends.
Kaylan Freeman: I am a junior at Kingsbury High School. Ink stained palms and tea leaves are eighty percent of my genetic makeup. I hope to take up something I love at Columbia University, and I also intend to write a few books in the future.
Desmond Catron is a junior at KIPP Collegiate High and this is his second year working as a member of the Teen Appeal. In his first year as journalist in the Teen Appeal, Desmond was chosen as the Outstanding High School Journalist of the Year. He is a teen of many talents such as playing various instruments (piano/drums/organ/bass guitar), barbering, photography/videography and public speaking. As the oldest out of 10, Desmond is a natural born leader and isn’t afraid to stir up the greatness out of his peers and encourage others in the right direction. After high school, this guy plans on attending nursing school to get his registered nursing degree and eventually get his license in Cosmetology to continue his family tradition of cutting hair, but for now he’s enjoying his high school experience recording music and performing in his spare time.
Jacoby Holland: I’m in 11th grade and I go to Kipp Memphis Collegiate High. Some of my goals when I graduate are going to college for psychology or professional video editing. My hobbies are video editing, reading, photography, and drawing.
Savanna Hulbert: I am in the 10th grade. I love football and basketball. My hobbies are reading, dancing, and singing. I plan to go to college and after college become a FBI agent, along with a forensic scientist.
Khristian Terry: I am in the 10th grade. I am from Petersberg,Virgina but I was rasied in Memphis. In the future I want to be an entrepreneur and happy. I want to write about fashion , music and business.

James Owings: I’m a web designer, writer, and science lover describe to put me in a nutshell and wrap a bow around it. I love to endure my time in anything complex and when I’m not at Overton High School, you can find me eating and writing. I’m in the 12th grade and will be graduating in 2016.
Roddrick Tooles: I am a sophomore at Overton High School. My favorite thing to do in my free time is to chill with my friends. Once I graduate high school I hope to go to college and obtain a masters in computer engineering.
Micah Davis: I’m am currently a senior. I am 17-years-old. At my school I am apart of the debate team, cheer team and I even started my own fundraiser to benefit the animals at our local humane society. After college I plan to be a clinical veterinarian and open my own “no kill shelter.”

Dominique Malone: I plan to double major in journalism and political science when I graduate and I love writing and debating in and out of school. To enhance these skills, I debate competitively and I write informally and formally on two newspapers.
