Clear your calendars for your boy JT, or better known as Justin Timberlake. That’s right, the pop-star will indeed return to his hometown during the North American leg of his tour.

Beginning Oct. 31, Timberlake will travel to over 50 different cities throughout his 20/20 Experience World Tour-including Memphis.

Earlier this year, Timberlake released his latest album The 20/20 Experience. With the lead single “Suit & Tie” feat. Jay-Z peaking within the top five songs worldwide, followed by “Mirrors.” The 20/20 Experience was declared a success.

And just when we thought he couldn’t get better, Timberlake announced a part two: The 20/20 Experience’s sister album.  The 20/20 Experience- 2 of 2 was released just last month. Now fans can buy The 20/20 Experience- The Complete Experience, a compilation of both parts.

The 20/20 Experience incorporates samples of piano, distorted voices, and buzzing electronic sounds with elements of older soul music, including resonant voiceovers and synthesizers. The songs are quite lengthy, with an average of a whopping seven minutes as opposed to the usual two or three.

Characterized by vamps, abrupt key changes, and unexpected rhythms and harmonies, Timberlake’s new album falls into the “neo soul” genre—a blend of soul and contemporary R&B. Lyrics mostly deal with the theme of romance.

Well-received by critics, The 20/20 Experience hailed a significant pop release for Timberlake. Many complimented its musical diversity from his previous albums, while others criticized a lack of variation within the album itself.

Nevertheless, the album debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200, becoming Timberlake’s second number one album on the chart and best-selling debut week of his solo career.

Timberlake quickly embarked on the Legends of the Summer Stadium Tour with Jay-Z to further promote the album, as well as The 20/20 Experience World Tour.

With all the hype over a brand new album, one can only wonder how Timberlake manages to release yet another stellar album on top of that, plus two—yes, you read that right—two movie releases. First starring in Runner Runner, and then appearing in Inside Llewyn Davis, Timberlake will be featured in two movies this year.

Runner Runner was released Oct. 4. Inside Llewyn Davis will be released early December. So if you cannot make the concert, a new JT movie may be a comparable alternative for you.

Attend the highly anticipated concert of the year! Who knows, it might make your Monday a little bit better. Or a lot.

Several shows are already sold out. Buy tickets before it’s too late at And don’t forget to bring a friend too. No one will want to miss this!
